We make clean, strong, and beautiful wholesale fish leather
by diverting waste from skin-off fish processing
transformed by our formula made from safe and renewable plant inputs
- never chromium or plastics.

People ask us, “Is it strong?” Yes!!

Here is what professional crochet artist Eileen Huitron had to say about working with strips of our fish leather.

We are re-invigorating and cleaning up an industry that got lost when it went cheap and dirty ☠️

Hiring a PhD chemist & immigrating a leather specialist to develop proprietary formulas for clean, strong, beautiful fish leather and testing to prove we do what we say makes us.

Thank you Pacific Economic Development Canada for this feature ❤️

Black, but make it midnight blue

A happy accident as we experiment using minimal dye to lessen our environmental impact.

While this batch is dyed using low impact synthetic dyes, we hope to shift to natural dyes as soon as their fastness improves.

A day in the life…
Where do our fish skins come from? These are byproducts of food processing which we buy from local processors, diverting them from the landfill, preventing methane release, and adding a revenue stream for other businesses.
But what does that LOOK like and how does that happen? It looks like this!
Our thanks to Aburi Central Kitchen, which has provided us with Pacific sockeye salmon skins for the past year. We love working with you!
