Black, but make it midnight blue

A happy accident as we experiment using minimal dye to lessen our environmental impact.

While this batch is dyed using low impact synthetic dyes, we hope to shift to natural dyes as soon as their fastness improves.

A day in the life…
Where do our fish skins come from? These are byproducts of food processing which we buy from local processors, diverting them from the landfill, preventing methane release, and adding a revenue stream for other businesses.
But what does that LOOK like and how does that happen? It looks like this!
Our thanks to Aburi Central Kitchen, which has provided us with Pacific sockeye salmon skins for the past year. We love working with you!
