G-rated “VEGAN AF” (Get it? And Fabulous!) toddler tees & onesies are in my shop. Every block has something vegan on it, encouraging a compassionate lifestyle that doesn’t involve exploiting others. THAT is what veganism is all about!

Let’s nurture the compassion our children are born with, rather than teach them to view certain species of animals in a light that’s contradictory to their natural instincts!

YUM Alert! If you are/were a Nutella fan, there’s a product on the market that you need to check out. This creamy spread is SO good! And it is !! My husband found it at our local .

I looked the brand up. In addition to this delicious Vegan Cocoa Spread with Hazel Nuts, ’s makes a Bitter Vegan Cocoa Spread that I’m anxious to try. Here are a few more details:
* Palm Oil Free
* Gluten Free
* No preservatives
* No cholesterol
* Family Spreads (from Greece)

Palm oil is everywhere, and can be found in 50 percent of the items on grocery store shelves because it is cheap to produce and versatile. However, it has a devastating impact on our planet and is a huge contributor to climate change. “Around the world, the business of palm oil harms the environment. During conventional cultivation, forests are cleared for plantations, bringing biodiversity loss, human-wildlife conflict, and habitat destruction affecting many species, notably the orangutan….”*
For more on the harmful effects of palm oil, see the link below.

Note: I don’t receive any monetary or other compensation for promoting this product. I just want to share my discoveries and support brands that are doing good things. That said/written, if wants to send me some , I wouldn’t mind! :oP

Who really cares which came first? It’s time to stop abusing them and taking what isn’t rightfully ours.

Whether they be “layers” (for eggs) or “broilers” (for their flesh), it doesn’t matter. We have drastically manipulated their bodies to grow at unnatural speeds and overproduce. Their lives are nightmarish and the toll these practices we inflict cause extreme suffering.

Let’s put the chicken first.

We are in the final hours of 2021, and I’m so grateful for your support! So many people are still unaware of the atrocities that are STANDARD PRACTICE in the business of animal agriculture. When we can lead health lives without contributing to the suffering of others, why wouldn’t we?

When you buy from Dirty Snouts (me), you are supporting rescued animals, who are now living their best lives in sanctuaries. These shelters and the people running them provide homes, medical care and love to sentient beings whose lives have been hell on earth. In 2021, Dirty Snouts made monetary contributions to 5 different animal sanctuaries and organizations that help them. Donations ranged from 10 - 50% of my sales. I also donated Dirty Snouts merchandise to a number of additional sanctuaries for their auctions and raffles.

Thank you for helping to . Let’s keep it going in 2022!

Seeing hacked off body parts of innocent animals hurts my heart. The suffering these pigs and other farmed beings endure is horrific. None of them deserves to be abused and slaughtered simply because their dead flesh tastes good.

The animal ag industry spends billions of dollars making sure that we view certain animals as food (or food providers), and others as companions. In actuality, all of these beings feel pain, love, and joy. Pig. Dog. Chicken. Cat. In the ways that matter, they are the same.

Today’s phabulous phood photos are brought to you by , a Korean vegetarian restaurant in NYC. I began with a lychee mojito cocktail and it might have been the best alcoholic drink I’ve ever had! To eat, we shared combination rolls (buckwheat noodle rolls, seaweed rolls, mushroom rolls and kimchi vermicelli rolls), and grilled todok strips in ginger soy sauce (I forgot to photograph it). I learned that todok is a root from the mountains of Korea with energy giving properties. It was chewy and its shreddy (is that a word?) consistency reminded me of vegan jerky. Next up was a spicy kimchi stone bowl rice (bibimbap), and it, too, was delicious.

There is such a misconception that vegan food is boring. But it doesn’t have to be. And while this restaurant was a special treat, there are countless ways to eat healthy, colorful and flavorful foods without exploiting animals.
