AndAgain Fine art produced in Malibu, CA in my studio. What do you think of when you think of fashion? Street style? Celebrities? Haute Couture?

With many people this is what first comes to mind. But have you ever considered the trail that each piece of clothing follows? From being a fashion student to first hand seeing the amount of pollution due to the fashion industry; I'm here to tell you that though you think fashion is beautiful, the environment does not. Did you know that the fashion industry causes more pollution than almost any ot

her in the world? in fact there is only one industry that pollutes the earth more, and it is oil. From the first stages of growing raw materials to create textiles, to dyeing and printing the fabric, to then cutting and sewing a garment, there is a tremendous amount of waste and pollution that is constantly occurring. Denim, particularly distressed denim is one of the biggest up and coming trends. As beautiful and chic as this trend may be, the amount of pollution it causes could blow your mind. At AndAgain we are dedicated to sustainability. All the denim, distressed and designed, is done in the most sustainable way possible; by hand. We are constantly using old, worn and abandoned denim that most people well would never have a second life. We are dedicated to dressing our customers in the designer denim, but in a way that won’t hurt our planet.
