There are times we feel empty, overwhelmed, insecure in our calling, scared, weary….

Times when we need to be refreshed and reassured. This weekend reNEWwriting was a beautiful gift . So many amazing teachers and workshops. Many thanks to Cindy Saab Laurie Devernoe Rachel J Britton Edie Melson Lori Roeleveld Jennifer Drummond and so many many more

The to-do list melts away
Perspective readjusts

Not my will but thine
Not my tasks but yours

Harness the thoughts

Assurance comes

Lately I’ve been posting a Friday prayer from Stitching Your Story. But this morning as I stop to take in the beauty after a morning run, the words of an old hymn became the morning prayer

“Be still my soul the Lord is on thy side
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain
Leave to thy God to order and provide
In every change He faithful will remain

Be still my soul thy best, thy heavenly friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end
Be still, my soul, thy God doth undertake
To guide the future as He has the past
Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake
All now mysterious shall be bright at last
Be still, my soul, the waves and winds still know
His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below”

A huge thank you to for a fabulous evening Saturday. Than you to the most wonderful friends who came along for the ride. And the friend who came along to sing for the event, even though she had never sung for such an event before 💕 so thankful for all the amazing ladies !
It was truly a blessing to speak about some of my favorite topics, weaving the imagery of sewing into our secure attachment to the love of The Father.
