Phenom is bigger than basketball.

I came to Camp Phenom to learn, serve, and pour into the next generation. I left with my cup full too.

Spending time with coaches like Ganon Baker , Dave Taylor , and Daryl McCoy | Pro Basketball Trainer | Waco, TX in what’s considered “a man’s world” was a reminder that growth never stops. They didn’t just share knowledge. They spoke life. Their encouragement, wisdom, and belief in what I’m building are gifts I’ll never take lightly.

Ganon told me something I’ll carry for a long time. He said I was “the truth,” that I could coach at the highest level, and that he was impressed and inspired by what he saw! 🤯 Those words weren’t validation of my worth. They were confirmation to keep doing the work God has placed in front of me.

Watching these kids compete, grow, and chase their dreams while learning from coaches who have impacted the game at the highest levels reminded me why I coach in the first place. Every conversation, every drill, every relationship matters.

I’m leaving this weekend with a grateful heart, a notebook full of ideas, and even more excitement for what’s ahead. My mission hasn’t changed. Keep serving. Keep learning. Keep building.

Thank you to everyone who poured into me. I won’t waste it. 💚🏀

I had the best time ever with Phenom America last week! The only pay, promise, and guarantee was that I was going to have the opportunity to impact young men’s lives. There was nothing more rewarding than the absolute joy I had while coaching them. To be trusted, heard, and believed in by kids who never met me a day in my life was nothing short of a blessing! Thank you… to Phenom and to each and every one of these young men, whether I coached you or not. 😊
