I can’t find track down this exact pattern name but I’m calling it fifteen points star inside a star. I spent some time taking photos of this beauty yesterday. There was a small sampler doll quilt that I also bought at the estate sale that has a few squares of the same backing fabric. The nine patch quilt (I’ll share photos tomorrow) has a note pinned to it that it was pieced by one family member and quilted by a later generation. These quilts are telling me their stories and sharing their connections.
