Memorial Day is more than the start of summer — it’s a reminder of sacrifice, courage, and the families forever changed because someone chose to serve something bigger than themselves.

At Rowan River, we’re incredibly grateful for the freedoms we get to enjoy every day… the little moments with our babies, family gatherings, sunshine-filled weekends, and the ability to build dreams we love. None of it comes without sacrifice from those who came before us.

Today, we honor and remember the heroes who never made it home. 🇺🇸

Mother’s Day can hold so many emotions at once. 🤍

Joy. Gratitude. Heartbreak. Love. Longing.

Many of you may not know that Rowan River was created in remembrance of our baby, Rowan River — a name that will forever hold a piece of my heart after miscarriage changed me in ways words never fully could.

What started from grief slowly became something beautiful. A way to honor a life that mattered deeply to our family. A reminder that even the smallest lives can leave the biggest impact.

This little boutique became more than clothing over time. It became healing. It became purpose. It became a way to pour love back into something after loss tried to take so much away.

So today, on Mother’s Day, I’m thinking of every mother carrying both love and grief at the same time. The mothers with babies in their arms. The mothers with babies only held in their hearts. The women longing to become mothers. The women quietly surviving today while smiling through it anyway.

You are seen. Your babies mattered. Your motherhood matters. 🤍
