To help bring our community together - One place to share events that are happening in McCleary! Let us know if you have an event you'd like us to share.

(McCleary Community Events Initiative) McCleary Events is the FaceBook channel for the McCleary Civic Renewal Council (MCRC). The McCleary Civic Renewal Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides cultural programs and activities for the community to participate in and attract tourists to the city. We are community-based and work in partnership with other community organizations to revive the city into a prominent destination for tourism and activities. McCleary Civic Renewal and Logo History: Outdoors Await Down Highway 8 Shirts and Stickers: In 2017, the city of McCleary convened a steering committee to inform what became the Economic Development Comprehensive Plan. A subgroup formed to brainstorm ways to better promote the city, and they decided a logo was needed. A designer turned their ideas into an image, and the Outdoors Await Down Highway 8 logo was born. The group later formed the McCleary Civic Renewal Council and the sale of apparel and stickers with our logo is used to support our work. Thank you to everyone who has purchased a shirt to proudly promote our city.

Hey there McCleary community! We have recently noticed that there have been more and more inquiries regarding services wanted locally like lawn care, automechanics, haircare etc... So we, the McCleary Civic Renewal Council, have decided to start an advertising campaign to help out our local McCleary businesses get more exposure to the residents who are in need of their services. We will be reaching out to businesses soon to interview and gather their information. If you have a business that you would like advertised please message us at McCleary Events and we will add you to our list. The idea is to help people who want to support local and who knows, maybe get some new businesses in town.😊
