There is something incredibly special happening at Family Jam.
Over the past few months, we have watched families come together to share music, laughter, and moments that many of us didn’t even realize we were missing. Children get the opportunity to sing alongside a live band, while grownups rediscover what it feels like to play music again. For many adults, it has been years since picking up an instrument, singing out loud, or simply allowing themselves to be creative.
Family Jam creates a space where everyone can grow.
For our little ones, standing up to sing a favorite song, shake an instrument, or help lead the group builds confidence in such a meaningful way. Music supports language development, social-emotional growth, listening skills, coordination, self-expression, and a sense of belonging. Watching these children proudly command the stage and share their voices with the community is truly incredible.
For adults, it is a reminder that music is meant to be experienced together. It gives us permission to play, create, and connect alongside our children in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.
Family Jam is truly for everyone. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or simply enjoy listening, there is a place for you here. You may even discover a hidden talent you didn’t know you had.
Join us on the last Friday of every month for this special community experience. Thank you to all of the families who have joined us so far and helped make these evenings so memorable.
At our next Family Jam, we will officially introduce our Family Jam Songbook featuring all of the songs we have shared over our first three sessions. We cannot wait to continue building this tradition and making music with all of you.
