Behind every Alter Ego design is a story. In 2013, a life altering accident closed the door on my first creative life as a chef, event designer, and food stylist. But creativity doesn’t simply disappear- it reinvents itself. From the fragments of that experience, Alter Ego Designs was born.

I began crafting accessories from unexpected materials; up-cycled rope, rubber, and pre-loved garments. Just as the materials were given a second life-an “alter ego”- I found my own. Every bold necklace and sculptural accessory I create is a testament to being present with the messy, beautiful process of change.

Each accessory has emerged by allowing myself to be present through the process of grief, loss, hope, bravery, reinvention, and acceptance.

One of our most popular designs is called EVOLVE, and is more than just an accessory; it is a modular system that allows for endless iterations. It is symbolic of the journey that led me here - a reminder that we are never finished, only ever evolving into our next, most beautiful self.
