Here’s the thing: if your products & services are underpriced, it’s only a matter of time before business dies. Meanwhile, your customers will move on and even pay more elsewhere. Just focus on delivering the right value and let your prices reflect it. Don’t sell yourself short!

LEARN TO TAKE ACCURATE BODY MEASUREMENTS

when I first started sewing I had customers who when they want me to sew from me will complain about the time I take measurements I thought something was wrong with me, today I will gladly tell them come when they are prepared because If you miss measure they will call you a tailor who doesn't know anything

Things I started doing differently

1. I tell them to book consultation

2. I tell to wear a properly fitted bra don't bring your sagged b***s for measurements
3. Started taking measurements for everytime they come to make another dress. The fact that I took your measurements 2 months ago for a bubu dress that measurements will not pass for corset.
4. I don't collect measurements from another tailor to use for my client. I remember a post on Instagram where some people said if their customer request for their measurements to give to another tailor they manipulate the measurements so omo I learnt that no one can be trusted. Don't allow anyone sabotage your work
