I love the palette and all the takes on what a wedding can not only look like ~ but feeeel like at The Kester Homestead. Blaine and I have set the stage, created the backdrop, foraged the props and planted the gardens. Each week it’s a pleasure to see what our couples bring to the table, to meet your families, hear your stories, witness your I do’s under the trees, catch a glimpse into your lives, if only briefly. I’m very grateful that this is my life, ushering you through your next chapter in this beautiful, artful, natural, grounded setting.

It’s Wednesday again and we’re doing our Farmer’s Market Picnic Party from 4:30-7:30!

Join us for a food truck dinner with Potters Farm to Fork , lemonade truck drinks with Happy Camper - Lattes & Lemonade or BYOB! We have tables to dine at or bring a blanket and hang out with us while shopping some local vendors for flowers, eggs, veggies, bread and more!

Our neighbor Ted will be playing guitar, come hang with us for dinner and groceries - and as always, it’s BYOB! ✨

Guys! The Joey McIntyre Freedom Tour at The Kester Homestead is tonight!! It sold out in 24 hours, so we sadly can’t welcome anyone without tickets onto the property. For those of you coming ~ here are some more details! 🎶

🚙 Arrive anytime, park in parking field, and cue up at the check-in table (follow signs, you’ll see where to go!)

🥘 🍋🍷 ~ 4pm: Tonzi’s Food Truck (Michael Tonzi) and Lemonade Truck Happy Camper - Lattes & Lemonade and The Homestead Bar will open for guests!

☀️ Keep your place in line and enjoy food and drink while you wait!

🚪-5:30 Doors officially open and you can claim your seat! We have reserved notes so you can mark your spot and go wander and enjoy the grounds, eat, drink and have fun until the show starts!

🍻 The Homestead Bar will be serving Finger Lakes Wine and NYS beer! Enjoy a Signature Drink with flowers from our garden, Salmon Run Chardonnay, Salmon Run Riesling, 1911 Rose, Juice Bomb Hazy IPA, Meier’s Creek Floatin’ on By, Genesee Light & Ruby Kolsch as well as DRAM ™️, Forest Water | Non-Alcoholic Botanical Soda and Saratoga waters. We will also have some local cottage bakery treats by Creative Crumb and Martin’s pretzels for purchase.

Happy 8th Anniversary to Gabby & Ethan! As I shared some of the photos Gabby posted to celebrate their special day, I can’t help but reflect on the time passing myself.

We bought The Kester Homestead 9 years ago. We’ve hosted so many magical soirées here since then, in so many iterations. We’ve grown and evolved, but the vision has always been pure and true and steady. I’m grateful I get to celebrate love and life as my profession. Many couples remain friends, like these two— we get to watch their families grow and evolve as they welcome children or buy homes, as they move through life in all the ways we do. I’m grounded and thankful knowing we were a small part of their beginning together. ❤️ Cheers to you both!
