As a Christian and a business owner, I believe that self-development is a vital aspect of growing in faith, character, and professional excellence.

For me, self-development is not just about acquiring new skills or knowledge, but about becoming the best version of myself, as God intended. It's about cultivating a deeper understanding of my strengths, weaknesses, values, and passions, and using that self-awareness to make intentional decisions that align with my faith and purpose.

As a business owner, I've learned that self-development is essential for staying ahead of the curve, innovating, and serving my customers with excellence. It's about staying curious, seeking feedback, and being open to new ideas and perspectives.

(Let's start with why I started my business).

Years past I have been on the street doing business for relatives, and i was good with what I was doing. I knew how to relate with my customers so I felt I would do more if I should start my own business. In 2019 I started my small business getting from people and reselling and today I'm grateful to God I was able to overcome procrastination and every other challenge.
And one other thing again that strives for my desire to sell Akara was my mom's box of wrappers, my mom was a lover of African print. She had a lot of Ankara and I knew she was really a lover of fabrics.
The vibrant colors and patterns sparked a flood of memories from my childhood.

In that moment, I felt a deep connection to my heritage and a sense of responsibility.

Today, my Ankara business is a tribute to my mother's love, wisdom, and creativity. Every fabric I sell is a celebration of our culture, our heritage, and the strong, beautiful women who have inspired me along the way.
