It’s HOT outside!! Spend the day in AC America’s Antique Mall Algonquin The mall is jam packed with vintage, antiques and collectibles. I’ve just added some interesting new items to my showcases AA18 & AA17. If you love cameos, repurposed jewelry constructed from authentic vintage and antique components, brooches, handmade earrings and bracelets I think you may find what you seek in there. Oh, and did I mention that there are unique antique buttons??? I make jewelry with some, but leave so many for customers to use or collect. The mall is open 7 days a week 10am - 7pm. Beat the heat!!

Please zoom in to the 1st picture and browse my showcase AA18 America’s Antique Mall Algonquin There are many new vintage compacts and earrings. Vintage lucite box purses and even a Mary Francis handbag. Cameos and my repurposed necklaces and bracelets. The bottom shelf is full of trays. There is a call button at the top of the cases. No need to find someone to help you. The workers are generous with their time- no rush. I have wonderful antique buttons, sold individually or in variety boxes. You can also find display cards full of antique buttons in booth W15- Altered Artikels. ( check out that booth it’s fantastic) If you have questions take one of my business cards and DM me. Repurposing and collecting is a sustainable adventure.

It’s the start of a new month and I just brought over to America’s Antique Mall Algonquin some new items from my studio as well as interesting finds that found their way into my hands. Sometimes you just can’t walk away. The patriotic horse bridle rosette brooch was too cool to pass up. I’ve never seen one before- almost kept this one. My repurposed bolo necklace, rare Evan’s compact clutch, rock crystal drop earrings- these aren’t glass- they are out of the ground crystal! A delightful silver plate sofa- yes it opens, where a carved bone netsuke is resting. Escape the steaming temperatures and enjoy the holiday weekend in the AC. Keep an eye out for more posts. There is a new statement necklace coming up. Check out Showcase City at the mall. All showcases are on the left side. My cases are AA 18 & AA 17.

A great big thank you to all of our shoppers this past four days. You are a pleasure to work with for every sale at Two Sisters with Junk in the Trunk. So many new people found our barn sale and I hope will be returning for our next sale at the beginning of August.

Don’t let this be you. As you explore the barn TwoSisterswithJunkintheTrunk for their Summer Sale go from room to room in a clockwise direction. Then turn around and go counterclockwise. Look up, down, right and left. You’d be amazed at what you can find. Then grab what hits your fancy and do t leave and be “Darn! Why did I leave that treasure behind?” We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday! You’ve got to take the ride and shop the barn.
