My artistic goal is to create unique glass pieces that challenge the viewer to become a mindful observer. To consciously focus their attention, to be cognizant of the world around them, and to ponder the scale of the universe and our place within it. Like the phoenix rising from the ashes of the old life to live anew, I take raw materials, subject them to fire and give them new form and a new lif

e. I strive to create objects of wonder and awe containing positive messages and hidden meanings. My hope is that my glass will exist long into the future and will be passed down though the ages from generation to generation. With this in mind, I try to choose concepts and themes that will remain timeless.
