Hey everyone!
It has been such a crazy season so far this year, but I wanted to jump on here and just say a quick thank you and share a few words.

As most of you know, I have poured my heart and soul into my business the last few years. This year has been incredible so far, and I have so many of you to thank for that .

I own and run my business entirely on my own, which means significantly long hours and a lot of catching up at times. I have an unbelievable passion for what I do for a living, and without that, I don’t think I would be able to keep the doors open.

I am a single mom of two teenagers who are learning that it takes time and hard work to run a business. It also means that sometimes, family comes first for unexpected illnesses, appointments, and “mom life”. 
I try my best to make sure that every person that leaves here, leaves happy.
I am also human and am always willing to learn, and grow as a person and a business owner.

As a society, we are always encouraged to take a risk, follow a dream, and go bigger. As a single mother, that task is incredibly challenging at times but I have tried my absolute best to be both a good mother and a strong business in the community in which I live.
I have been incredibly lucky to be able to work with so many other local businesses and learn from them new ideas and plans on how to be better. This is after all, an ever growing and changing field.

Some days I am exhausted, And some days I am four coffees deep in excitement and energy. I always try to give the same attention to detail and compassion to each person that walks through the door regardless of how I’m feeling that day. My customers after all, are the most important part of what I do.

I want to thank those of you that I have been lucky enough to work with this season for your compassion and understanding as I have had to work through some personal “outside of work” challenges to the best of my abilities. This Sometimes has meant rescheduling appointments, or having availability less than the normal standard here.
I assure you that your experience here is my number 1 priority.

Hey everyone! I wanted to give a quick update for those of you who still need to pickup bridesmaids and mothers dresses for June 6!
My daughter unfortunately is having unexpected surgery, so I was not able to be in shop today as planned for pickups! I will return Monday so if you haven’t picked up, plan to pickup Monday and Tuesday!
Monday pickup hours 9am-12pm and 4pm-6pm
Tuesday pickup hours 9am - 12:30pm and 2:30-6pm

For those of you waiting to pickup for June 12 weekend; you will be able to pickup later this coming week. I will message with more info coming up this Sunday/monday for you!

At a loss for the words to explain the gratitude this morning as I reflect on these past few weeks. It has felt a little surreal and extremely joyous. Being awarded Entrepreneur of the Year earlier this month and now the honor of being chosen as a recipient of one of the Ruby Awards, has made me look at the last 5 years with profound appreciation and momentum to keep moving forward. This community is amazing. My customers are the reason I get to do what I love everyday, and the support of other leaders in the Great Lakes Bay region is extremely encouraging.
To anyone with a dream, don’t hesitate to take the jump. The risk is almost always worth the reward. Pour your heart and soul into what you love, and do it with purpose.
Congratulations to the other talented winners and a huge thank you to 1st State Bank, the Great Lakes Bay Region, my family, my friends and my two beautiful children for supporting my dream.

I feel so incredibly Honored to have received the Entrepreneur of the year award through the Midland Business Alliance. This has been quite the journey to get here and I am so grateful to everyone that supported this dream.
First, to the MBA, thank you for recognizing all of my hard work and dedication. I look forward to working with so many of you in the community in the future!
To all my clients, Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me with sharing in one of the most important days of your life. You are the reason I do what I love everyday.
To my close family and friends who supported me, loved me, put up with my busy schedule, and the late nights when I needed help.
To my kids; thank you for sharing your Mom with her work on those late nights and long weeks, so that I could build us a future.
To the community, thank you for supporting small business and encouraging me to chase the dream.

I feel such a sense of overwhelming love, support and positivity during this time, that it almost feels somewhat surreal. I am deeply honored to have been selected to receive 3 separate awards this month, (with this being the first) and I truly feel such a sense of pride, gratitude, and joy for all that led to this point.

We aren’t done yet everyone. So much more to come, and I can’t wait to get there.
