As I’m starting my last weekend of vending at Summerfest this year, it’s hard not to get emotional!
This is the most difficult but most fulfilling thing I get to do with R+B. It takes months and months of preparation, and is truly a marathon and not a sprint. I took time away from my full time job this year, but I still had many (many many) 16-20 hour days working and vending and getting my stock up for the next weekend.
I’ll miss scootering to and fro, the cheese curds, the live music, and the lovely customers I met along the way. You make this all possible. Thank you.
I won’t miss 90° heat, wind, walking, drunk people, almost getting hit on a scooter, waking up at 7 am, or only getting 5 hours of sleep, however 😮💨😅
Thank you to my wonderful husband for picking me up and sitting in traffic and keeping things at home in good standing while I’m home/not home/ not able keep up.
And thank you to my cat Bones for still pressuring me to play (every day) as if everything is completely normal in my life. 😂
Anyway, I love you all, and I appreciate you above all else. I’m sorry for not posting more ( although that will realistically never actually change lol )
