My dad and I collaborated on a project for Hennepin Church. He and the Recyclers built the taper table and I made the covers for them.

My profile photo here is of my mother and nephew. Mom is wearing a polar fleece cape I made to fit while she sat in her wheelchair. Mom had ALS and I made up my own adaptations for her clothing as her disease progressed. Adaptive clothing is for anyone and everyone. It's doing what ever works for the specific situation. This article is a long read, but it was worth my time to get a better understanding of how disabled people continue to be taken advantage of by people out for profit above all else.
