These are the moments I try to stay present for— the ones that make the long days feel worth it.

He’s almost one… and I’m realizing how fast these quiet moments are slipping by. When I was pregnant I would dream about the days that he would say “mama” for the first time, the messes in the living room from scattered toys after a good day of play, the way he would light up when he saw me or his dada walk into the room, his first smile, his first giggle…what it would feel like to snuggle him up tight. I can’t help but feel these moments are going by faster than I can adequately soak them in.

So here’s your gentle reminder to pause, be still, to just be present. My mama heart can’t handle how fast this first year has gone, but I’m so proud of my lil guy and all he’s learning each day. Life has been filled with an abundance of joy since you arrived little man, and I’ve loved the person I’ve become just simply becoming your mama and learning everything about you. Here’s to year one!

When we found out we were having our first baby, I went deep into research on what would actually touch his skin.

I wish someone had told me this sooner.

Most blankets labeled “organic” only certify the cotton at the farm. After that, chemicals can still be used in the processing.

GOTS is the gold standard because it covers the entire supply chain. That’s the only standard we would accept for Honey Bunny Baby.
