Please share this poster to any MHS Staff or Students interested in learning how to crochet or for those who already do so and want some perks to go with it!

In addition, it is not limited to just MHS Staff & Students. Anyone is welcome to join! If you, a co-worker, friend, family member, students from other schools (even elementary/private/rural [Age 9+]) are interested, have them email me! They don't need to know how to crochet either; we will teach them!

11 years ago, when I was pregnant with my oldest son, I saw the most precious little newborn crocheted converse booties on YouTube and decided then I was going to learn how to read patterns!

I've crocheted since I was seven but couldn't read patterns until 24 years later (11 years ago). I put the YouTube video on caption, opened up the link to the pattern as well and took notes. It finally clicked! From then on I was able to make almost anything!

The first converse booties I made, I used 4ply yarn instead, not realizing to use different size yarn for different projects. These are in sz. 3 yarn.

Ironically enough, these ended up being too small for my oldest son Magnus when he was born a couple weeks later since his feet were so big🤣 They did fit my little baby bear, Bjorn though😍🩵

Moral of the story, you can do anything you put your mind to! *It might not turn out right the first time, but you'll get it with practice!

Here are our crochet items we have left from the Fjord Folk Fest

If anyone is interested, please let me know, and I can send you a payment link! We do free pick-up at MHS, $5 delivery (Minot area only), or shipping for $8.

Also, if you follow this page and like, comment, and share this post, I will give you a 10% discount (to cover sales tax and handling charges).

We are also taking custom orders. Links in comments:)

As of right now, I can get items to you before Halloween since I only have a few orders so far.

In addition, I plan on offering crochet classes to the public, all ages (7+ and one-on-one instruction) in October. Be on the look out for the exact dates and times within the the next couple weeks.

Lastly, attached is our brochure with our events and activities for this school year. If anyone is interested in helping with classes or donations, let me know!
