Guys I’m fed up, and things need to change in the jewelry industry. But for now, I don’t see the need to accessorize with pieces that innocent mine workers and surrounding citizens had to pay for with their lives. Just about any jewelry company you ask will say they audit the mines they source from, and this simply isn’t true. For now, I’ll only be spending my money on secondhand jewelry, or new pieces made with organic material or recycled metals and gems.

MOVIE NIGHT TOMORROW 🎥
What: I am sharing my sustainable fashion beginnings story with you all (public speaking bleck 🫣), having a clothes swap, and an outdoor movie showing of the documentary that played a huge role in my journey
Where: 59-578 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa
When: Tomorrow 8/6
5pm: clothes swap (break to get some food)
6:30: I’m speaking
7:00: True Cost Documentary showing outside (bring blankets or chairs)
