Hi everyone- long time no update! Unfortunately popping in with some disappointing news.

After much thought I’ve made the difficult choice to close my books and not take any new custom orders for the time being. This was not a decision made lightly, and I know this is disappointing news to a lot of you who use my services frequently or anticipated placing an order. I love nothing more than being a part of your special events, but growing our family requires all of my focus and will be quite the journey without the added anxiety of running a business.

As always I’d be happy to recommend another local baker to take good care of you until I return. I was hoping to avoid this post all together but I would rather rip the band-aid off early to allow my regular clients to reach out to an alternative cookie lady if needed while I take a step back from custom orders. Please see my Instagram page and click through the highlights for other local bakers who may be able to help you for your events in my absence.

I appreciate your patience and understanding, keep an eye out for holiday pre-sales and flash sales periodically to get your cookie fix. Dates TBD 🤍

UPDATE:

Hi everyone! Apologies for my lack of posting on Facebook, I prefer to primarily use Instagram (be sure to follow me on there for availability and more of my work!) I am MUCH more active on Instagram and my reply time is faster via DM on that platform.

That being said, I am FULLY BOOKED for the remainder of the summer! September ordering starts tomorrow July 1st, please don’t hesitate to reach out for availability and pricing for CUSTOM COOKIES ONLY. My minimum is 2 DOZEN and I am located in Monmouth County for pick up only!

I know today is for ALL dads… but MINE really is the greatest. Always there to pick me up and dust me off when s**t doesn’t work out. He taught me how to drive, shoot a gun at a beer can in the woods, make scrambled eggs, mix a proper margarita and in true “dad” fashion how to grill a hot dog (New Balances optional 👟) Cheers to Jeff today and every day 🍻❤️

Yer a cookie, Harry⚡️

Love these a lot, even did some watercolor painting for the crests! After my “wrong school color” mix up I ate one grad cap… gave Ian a tassel balloon… and then used the rest for this set because I accidentally made the perfect Hogwarts burgundy/maroon/chili pepper/ Christmas red mish-mosh… did you know Rowan University is actually just brown? 🙃

Colors for the houses were all mixed with water:
Forest Green
Navy Blue
Dijon
Maroon

Gold is mixed with everclear 🌾

Edible markers for line work are with the fine tip

Cutters are tagged (the Madison plaque from is so versatile I use it in almost every set)

A little honey is on the way 💛

Spend almost 2 hours taking pictures and packaging the Pooh set so I could separate the designs for another grid post ✨jUsT bAkEr tHinGs✨Would also be super cute to do again, or even a “what will baby bee?” for a gender reveal!

The individual honey comb pieces were made like the mermaid scales by scraping thick icing through a stencil on parchment paper and adhering them one at a time. Wanted to try the bubble wrap technique too but heard it takes days to dry and didn’t want to risk it not being ready in time!

To prevent edible marker from smearing in the package I used a fan brush dipped in cornstarch over all the cookies- dries up any residual moisture from the ink and doesn’t alter the look or taste!

Classic Winnie the Pooh 🍯🐻

This is without a doubt one of my favorite sets I have ever done. When I had the inquiry for this order three months ago, I was thrilled but hesitant as I compared my talent to the inspo pics and psyched myself out that it wouldn’t come out the way I wanted. And three months later I can say with confidence this is absolutely some of my best work and I am so very proud of them. The texture, the techniques I’ve learned, and my progress to see from where I’ve started till now is really really something else. Cookie decorating is the first and only skill I’ve continued after I wasn’t immediately good at, instead of being abandoned with crochet projects, other craft projects and hobbies. They’re off to a loving home, and I miss them already. 🤍

Rub a dub dub! 🛁💙 Rubber ducky baby shower was never really a thought I had but now these little duckies will live rent free in my brain forever, and they’re for a soon to be mama who is very close to me which makes them even more special! 🥺
