One of my favorite bridal projects I’ve done so far 🤍

This bride wanted to add a special touch to their dress shirt. She brought me her mom’s wedding gown and we made a plan to add the lace from the dress as accents to the shirt.

All of the lace pieces were carefully removed from the dress and then hand stitched onto the shirt. The result was this beautiful, one-of-a-kind shirt for her to wear on her big day. I also used pieces of the dress to create a lace pocket square and a simple bouquet wrap.

Please try to use the contact form on my website to submit alteration requests, or email me if we have communicated in the past. I don’t always see or get notifications for Facebook messages to this account so it can be hard for me to reply in enough time for scheduling alteration fittings!

There is a phone number listed for my business, but I get so many spam calls a day that it’s almost impossible to screen all of the calls for what might be legitimate. I use that number to call customers about scheduling changes or if I need to clarify things. I do not answer calls to that number for alteration requests.

CLASSES ARE COMING!

Made by Hand has always been more than a sewing studio. I've dreamed of providing a space for the fiber arts community to come together, learn together, and work together. This new shop space is going to allow the room for people to come and learn from me and other amazingly talented fiber artists who just want to continue this dying art of sewing.

Classes are going to start this fall. These are some of the first classes I will be offering in September, and I will be adding more as I figure out scheduling and get some guest teachers!

Please make sure you are following and subscribed to updates from this page when the classes are announced. And tell your friends! I can't wait to teach you!

We just zoomed past 1 year of Made by Hand brick and mortar!! 💖🎉🌈

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU all for the love and support of this little shop. I love what I do for people, my job is stressful in all the best ways. I don’t always know where I’m going, but I’m always doing my best to forge the best path. I’ve learned so much over this past year and I’m happy you all have stuck with me through this slightly bumpy adjustment of the best part of this year….. Getting a new shop! I could not have dreamed that I would be in this better position after just a year of opening my doors. There are so many amazing opportunities here and I’m so glad to be a part of this community helping you all feel amazing in your clothes 🥰

Made by Hand is open from 10-5 every Friday and Saturday, and 10-3 on Sundays.
