CLASSES ARE COMING!

Made by Hand has always been more than a sewing studio. I've dreamed of providing a space for the fiber arts community to come together, learn together, and work together. This new shop space is going to allow the room for people to come and learn from me and other amazingly talented fiber artists who just want to continue this dying art of sewing.

Classes are going to start this fall. These are some of the first classes I will be offering in September, and I will be adding more as I figure out scheduling and get some guest teachers!

Please make sure you are following and subscribed to updates from this page when the classes are announced. And tell your friends! I can't wait to teach you!

We just zoomed past 1 year of Made by Hand brick and mortar!! 💖🎉🌈

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU all for the love and support of this little shop. I love what I do for people, my job is stressful in all the best ways. I don’t always know where I’m going, but I’m always doing my best to forge the best path. I’ve learned so much over this past year and I’m happy you all have stuck with me through this slightly bumpy adjustment of the best part of this year….. Getting a new shop! I could not have dreamed that I would be in this better position after just a year of opening my doors. There are so many amazing opportunities here and I’m so glad to be a part of this community helping you all feel amazing in your clothes 🥰

Made by Hand is open from 10-5 every Friday and Saturday, and 10-3 on Sundays.

YES I take walk-ins (no bridal or suits)
YES I have handmade and upcycled clothes for sale
YES I will be starting classes and workshops this fall

There is so much more on the horizon. Thank you all again, from the very bottom of my heart, and I’m so excited to see where this next year takes me!

Sometimes clothes aren’t even made out of FABRIC 💎

We can still fix that 🛠️

The neck strap on this rhinestone halter dress was too long, causing the front of the dress to droop too low on the customer’s chest. With some scissors and a jewelry clasp, it’s now the perfect length!

Wedding gown bustles can get a little complicated, so I try to make sure it’s as easy as possible for you (or your bridesmaids) to get that train dance floor ready on your big day!

I encourage brides to bring someone along with them to a final fitting and have them video me doing the bustle. I also let them practice the bustle themselves…

And sometimes I include a cute little hand drawn diagram for extra assurance that they can get it done in a pinch 😁
