With almost half the quilt done I’m quite proud of myself! And with all the handwork that is required it’s giving me ample time to mentally to plan for the next quilt using the scrap from this quilt!!!

I’ve always wanted to do a sun burst style quilt. But didn’t want to do that much math. So when I was gifted this mattress topper I immediately got to work. Every step brings a new joy!!

I still can’t believe it actually worked!! Purchased a can of hairspray that came out more like Silly String adhesive. And rather than throw it away or go through the hassle of returning it, I thought why not try it for quilting. Now it wasn’t the best of results compared to actual basting spray. However I am over the moon to offer this gem for you.
