From the beginning, Tier One’s purpose has been clear — to grow the game, provide unparalleled opportunities, and celebrate female athletes. That commitment has guided everything we do.

In 2027, as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we are proud to introduce the

🏆 Tier One Eastern NC Softball Honors 🏆

The 2027 high school softball season will mark the inaugural year of this annual awards program, created to recognize the top high school softball players and coaching staffs across Eastern North Carolina.

This program honors excellence, leadership, character, and impact on the game, celebrating the athletes and coaches who define the standard of high school softball in our region.

Eligible nominees must be varsity players in grades 9–12 during the award year.

Award categories include:
• Player of the Year
• Pitcher of the Year
• Catcher of the Year
• Infielder of the Year
• Outfielder of the Year
• Utility Player of the Year
• Offensive Player of the Year
• Fleet Foot Award (Most Stolen Bases)
• Staff of the Year
• The Meghan Bunn Character & Courage Award, recognizing integrity, perseverance, and leadership beyond the scoreboard

Nominations will be submitted by high school head coaches, with selections made by an independent committee using a transparent and standardized evaluation process. Participation in Tier One events is not required.

🏆 Inaugural Award Year: 2027
🏟️ Awards Banquet: Post–high school season
🎉 All finalists will be invited to attend the awards banquet, where winners will be officially announced and awards presented.

We are honored to celebrate the athletes, coaches, and stories that define Eastern North Carolina softball — and to launch this program as part of 10 years of Tier One serving the game.
