This is the first and only ring I’ve made for myself since starting my journey 6 months ago, when I got the stone I just knew I was keeping it all for myself!!! 😍
This is honestly the first year in as long as I can remember that I have been a little bit excited for snow, every other year since being an adult has come along with the burden of “is work gonna close after I drive 45 min to get there?” “Is work gonna put my safety before their making money?” “Am I going to have to miss out on playing in the snow with my kids to sit at a desk for 12 hours?” Ect.
But this year it’s simple and it’s never felt better, I got to bake bread and cookies and now I’m working on making some rings, in my own house, as my own boss. It’s so crazy to reflect on. This is one of those times that I look at my life and think… man there’s really a lot to be grateful for, and one of those things is you guys!!
I hope today if you’re stuck inside that you take it as an opportunity to do something you love that you haven’t done in a while — paint, read a book, bake, do a puzzle, binge watch your favorite show, a craft idea you’ve had saved in your socials. Use the time being “stuck” as a reminder to slow down and live a little 🩷
