TLDR: Sorry for not checking in and posting photos at the Taco and Margarita Festival today. It was a rough one, fingers crossed for next year. 😞
First I was busy functioning as a structural component of my canopy, despite proper weights. After calling in reinforcements (Shelly Wakeland-Kraklow and James Kraklow) to help me get it down safely, I had the brief thought that "If I get a little sunburnt it's ok". Unfortunately about 30 minutes later I had to fashion a quick makeshift cover for my entire setup because the 0% chance of rain had changed to actively raining. Which it has been doing on and off with differing severity since while meteorologists push the "rain will finish by --" time back in 20 minute increments.
Have no fear, my products can get wet! Carry your tote bags through the rain! Wear your earrings no matter the weather! But the paper cardstock you buy them on, and the hand painted wood display trays? Not so much.
All this to say, if you were able to catch me long enough to purchase something today, I really appreciate you. If you saw me sitting sadly in the rain for awhile, or currently see me trying to pack up strategically to get the least amount wet, thank you for your words of encouragement.
I'll be honest, this event should've been my highest seller this month. So if you were planning on coming by, please try to catch me at another one soon. My monthly schedule should be pinned to the top of my feed. And if I ever post a photo of something you want, I can always ship it.
