Between missed messages, comments, requests, tags, and just communicating in general, I owe some of you all an apology!

Trying to keep the wheels spinning on all things life, working full time, being a good mom, a good wife, a good friend and family member, (all the things I’m sure you can totally relate to!) I also decided a few years ago to go back to school and get my bachelor’s. Whenever the chaos set in, which was often, Rooted in Clay always took a back seat.

This last week, I submitted my final assignment and now that this chapter is officially finished, I’m so excited to have a little more room in my life to get back to creating and pouring some love into Rooted in Clay again. 🤎

Sometimes it looks like I know what I’m doing when it comes to gardening. Other years I’ve got pumpkins ready to be harvested before I’ve even gotten a single dahlia to bloom. Does anyone else remember having this cookie jar in their kitchen growing up? Did anyone also happen to see how much they are reselling for online AND that they are considered “VINTAGE”??! I love my vintage goodies but I’m not sure that I’m ready to be considered vintage myself!! 😂

❤️I will be able to make more of these should the amounts requested exceed what I have. EXCEPT for the pairs with the transfer images in the last 2 photos, those are very limited.

🤍I will stop taking requests on 6/18, and all pairs will be ready by 6/21.

💙 Meetup is available in Davenport, Muscatine, and Iowa City.

❤️Shipping is available at customers expense, with a $6 minimum. Unfortunately, shipping has become really random and I can’t guarantee what the price will be until they have shipped.

There’s something a little terrifying (and exciting) about putting yourself out there in a new way, especially when it’s something you’ve created with your own hands. And now, here I am, being able to display my work at Six Clems Micro Bakery. A special little bakery built on community, relationships, and supporting one another.

Rachel and Six Clems just seem so special and I will forever be grateful to get to part of it!
