Once upon a time, Ann & Natalie were sitting and chatting during their summer vacation and decided that they wanted to find a hobby that could keep them busy (and keep them out of the mall). Ever since, the duo has been trying new headband patterns, scavenging the internet for cute fabric, and taking sewing lessons from their mothers. ✨Sunday refresh completed ✅
Caffeine is a must. A glorious 50 minute drive time to listen to my 27 hour audiobook (only 10 more hours to go!) I always use the map, just in case! I always think it will be so quick when I stop in to drop off and refresh my space, but three hours later—we got it done!

Hi 👋🏻— I’m Ann, the face behind casa collected.

My family and I call west Michigan home. I just finished my 12th year teaching high school Spanish—it was the best year yet! Summer is my jam. You can find me at the beach, pool or the thrift with my two little guys. Occasionally, we convince Reid Takken to join us too!

A long time ago my best friend and I started sewing headbands for something to do in summer. Eventually that turned into having a shelf space at a local shop and later a whole booth space. Truly, I got it from my mama. She has been crafting, painting, collecting for years! She has taught me so much—all the painting tricks, it’s not hoarding if it’s for the business and always keep your space clean!

A few things I will never leave behind are alarm clocks, squirrels, and vintage trophies. ⏰🐿️🏆

I love having this creative outlet, sourcing (aka shopping), and staging my space at Gathered Goods
