THE UNSHAKEABLE RESILIENCE OF A VIRGO
People love to call a Virgo strong. They see us handling things, finding a way through, showing up when it would be easier to stay in bed. What they don’t see is the moment before that—when we sit alone, overwhelmed, trying to figure out how much more one person can possibly carry.
I know what it’s like to have life knock the wind out of me and still have people expect me to know what comes next. Sometimes I did. Sometimes I had no idea. I got up anyway.
That’s the part of Virgo resilience people misunderstand. It isn’t that nothing hurts us. We feel everything. We remember the words, the betrayals, the times we needed someone and heard nothing back. We’ve cried over things we never told a soul about. Then we’ve washed our face, looked at the mess in front of us, and decided where to begin.
A Virgo will rebuild with shaking hands. She’ll make a plan while her heart is still breaking. She’ll find a reason to laugh on a day that gave her absolutely nothing funny to work with. And if that first plan falls apart? She’ll be pi**ed for a minute, then she’ll make another one.
I’m proud of that strength. I’m also honest about what it cost me. There were days I deserved help, rest, and someone saying, “I’ve got you.” Surviving those days doesn’t mean they were easy. It means I was determined to see what my life could look like on the other side of them.
So when I say a Virgo is unshakeable, I don’t mean she never falls apart. I mean you can watch her fall, count her out, and still be surprised when she stands back up with a whole new plan.
And this time, she remembers exactly what she’s capable of. ♍️
