Some days it’s nice to create just for fun. I absolutely love herringbone, and am a complete sucker for the remnants bin. This tie is born out of both of those traits. The best part about this is that I still have enough fabric left over to make a matching mask!
I spent the afternoon working on masks for the wife and I, plus knocked this out. It felt good to start thinking about the upcoming holidays, and getting lost in the gentle hum of the sewing machine and the “puff puff” of the steam iron.
This won’t make it to the store since it was made from virgin materials rather than recycled, but I couldn’t resist showing it off.
