Simply June Multi Media Hand Embroidery Karen June Grant is an embroidery artist living in the Boston area with her husband Jason, their son Kolya and pup Lucas.

Karen has been creating and sewing since she was a little girl in the Hudson River Valley. Simply June launched in 2004 with a line of handbags inspired by her adoption experience in Russia. These days, Karen has been spending a lot of time under the tutelage of 7 year old artist-in-residence, Kolya. Their days are spent creating with markers, crayons, paint, colored pencils, stickers, constructio

n paper, recycled magazines, glue and just about any supplies they can get their hands on. Simply June offers a variety of hand embroidered, vintage inspired work as well as custom designs upon request. Inspired by her son’s creativity, Simply June is now excited to offer custom hand-embroidered children’s artwork pillows and share the opportunity to preserve the creativity and imagination of the little artist in your life.

We are two female artists in Boston who have each been in the handmade marketplace for over five years. We're now launching a new company called Little Yellow Couch that involves working with and promoting other artists.
