Cry It Out. Thug It Out. — The Story Behind the Shirt

Cry It Out. Thug It Out. came to me through a dream, but the picture stayed with me.

This shirt was created from the belief that your feelings are valid. Sometimes life hurts. Sometimes people leave. Sometimes relationships end, plans fall apart, and things don’t turn out the way you thought they would. And when that happens, it is okay to cry.

Cry it out.

Give yourself permission to feel what you feel. Sit with it. Process it. Let the tears come if they need to. You don’t have to pretend that something didn’t hurt just because you want to be strong.

But don’t stay there forever.

After you’ve cried it out, you have to thug it out.

Pick yourself back up. Keep going. Find your strength again. Do what you need to do to move forward—even if you have to do it by yourself.

Because sometimes the strongest thing you can do is admit, “Yeah, this hurt me.” And then turn around and say, “But I’m not staying here.”

You cried.
You felt it.
You processed it.

Now thug it out.
