✨ So many of my clients come to me at a turning point.

They’ve lost a significant amount of weight , started a new chapter , are heading back into the dating world , preparing for a big interview , or simply feel like the old version of themselves no longer fits.

This client was exactly that. 🤍

At first glance, you might think the cool drapes are right because they echo her beautiful blue eyes. 👀 But color analysis isn’t about matching your eyes. It’s about creating harmony with your skin.

Watch what happens. 👇

The cool drapes create a gray cast around her mouth and leave her cheeks looking ruddy. Then we switch to warm, and suddenly the skin underneath those cheeks lights up. ✨ Her complexion becomes healthier, brighter, and more alive. 🌞

That’s why we analyze the skin, not the eyes.

And yes... that bell ringing in the background? 😂🔔 My 7 year old daughter was my official harmony bell assistant.

If you’re entering a new season of life and you’re ready for the outside to finally reflect how you feel on the inside, I’d love to help. 💛

👧 Guess Her Season: Pre Pubescent Edition! 🎨

This one’s a little different...

Her coloring is still changing. Not every child’s coloring shifts through puberty, but hers definitely appears to be evolving, which makes this a fun challenge.

So what’s your guess?

1️⃣ True Summer
2️⃣ Soft Summer / Soft Autumn
3️⃣ True Autumn
4️⃣ True Spring

Drop your answer below! 👇

Here’s something most people don’t know...

Color analysis is generally most stable after puberty, when hormones and pigmentation have settled into their long term pattern. That’s why many analysts recommend waiting if your goal is a lifetime analysis.

That said, children absolutely can be analyzed, and many families choose to do so for dance competitions, theater, pageants, graduations, sporting events, and other important milestones where they want their child to look and feel their best. 💃🎭✨

If a child’s coloring changes after puberty, it’s simply worth reassessing at that time.

📚 Follow me if you want to learn the science behind undertone, value, and intensity.

🚨 Stop using the redness in your skin to determine your undertone. 👏🏻

Many of my clients come to me with significant capillary activity. It might be rosacea, a natural flush, recent laser treatment, or another form of redness. That’s your overtone. It’s happening on the surface of your skin. It has nothing to do with your undertone. 🌹

When I first draped this client in warm colors, her immediate reaction was, “I look even more red.”

At first glance, I completely understood why she felt that way. But then I pointed out what my eye has been trained to see after analyzing THOUSANDS OF CLIENTS, and I helped her eye see it too. 👀✨

Her undertone had come to life. Her skin had warmth, dimension, and glow. Once she knew what to look for, she could clearly see that her eyes became the focal point of her face.

Then we draped her in cool colors.

The glow disappeared. Her skin became pale, and without that healthy warmth underneath, the surface redness became the star of the show. Instead of looking healthy, it looked ruddy.

This is one of the biggest misconceptions in color analysis. People analyze the overtone instead of the undertone.

Color analysis isn’t about matching the surface of your skin. It’s about discovering the undertone, value, and intensity that create harmony with your natural features. 🧬✨

📚 If you’re ready to understand the science of undertone, value, and intensity instead of relying on myths, follow me. I teach you to see color the way a trained analyst does.

Blondes can't be Winters. 👀

I know... that's going to make some people uncomfortable.

Here's why.

Winter is the highest contrast palette. To wear those colors harmoniously, your natural features have to create that same level of contrast. Natural blonde hair lowers your overall contrast, which is why thE depth of the Winter colors often create extra shadows around the jawline and under the eyes. Then what happens? We try to fix it with more concealer, more bronzer, more makeup.

You might love black, but that doesn't mean black loves you back. 🖤

The goal of color analysis isn't to wear your favorite color. It's to wear the colors that make your skin look healthier, brighter, and more alive.

Work with what you are. You're already beautiful. ✨

Do you think natural blondes can be Winters? Tell me why or why not. 👇

Yes, Spring can make someone look lighter, but lighter does not always mean better.

To truly shine in Spring colors, the skin needs brightness and reflection so those fresh, tinted colors can bounce back into the face.

When that reflection is missing, Spring can actually do the opposite. Instead of creating a glow, it can make the skin look pale, flat, or washed out.

That is why fair skin can be Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter.

Color analysis is not about how light someone is. It is about what brings life, harmony, and definition back into the face. ✨

Fair skin does not automatically mean Spring 🌷✨

This is your reminder that fair skin can belong to Autumns, Winters, Summers, and Springs.

Color analysis is never about how light or deep someone’s skin is. It’s how their skin reacts to color.

That why guessing someone’s season based on skin tone alone almost always gets it wrong 👀

The right palette brings the face into focus, smooths the skin, brightens the eyes, and makes everything look more harmonious. ✨

MANY analysts (and honestly, AI) would probably call her a Soft Autumn. 👀

But there are TWO big problems with that diagnosis.

First, her natural hair is blonde. Soft Autumn sits between Summer and Autumn, and Autumn requires depth. Blonde hair should immediately make you stop and question whether Soft Autumn is even scientifically possible. BTW - it’s NOT!

Second, she's simply too warm. Soft Autumn borrows softness from Summer, but this client has a much stronger dominance of warmth. The proof is in the drapes. When we place her in Soft Autumn, her complexion starts to look gray and her natural glow fades. The moment we move her into True Spring, her skin comes alive because those colors are finally in harmony with her features. ✨

This is why color analysis isn't about checking boxes. It's about understanding undertone, value, intensity, and watching how the skin responds to color.

What would you have guessed before seeing the drapes? True Spring or Soft Autumn? 👇

Watch what the RIGHT colors do for her ✨

Every color in this palette is tinted, meaning there is white mixed in, which allows the color to bounce off her reflective skin and bring out that bright, fresh glow 😍

This is the kind of glow that instantly softens the face, brightens the eyes, and takes years off without changing a single thing about her makeup or hair.

And the answer? TRUE SPRING🌷
