We have to take a moment to again thank Lacey and her husband for the amazing amount of donations. This haul will take hours to inventory and that's not a bad thing. Today is National Foster Care Day.

And behind that title…
are real kids living real stories.

Kids who had to grow up too fast.
Kids who pack their lives into trash bags.
Kids who don’t know where they’ll sleep next… or who they’ll be with.

It’s not just “a system.”
It’s missed birthdays.
New schools.
Goodbyes they didn’t choose.

But it’s also this,
People who open their homes anyway.
Who show up.
Who love without knowing how long they’ll have them.

Foster care isn’t just about saving kids.
It’s about giving them stability, safety, and a chance.

So today,
pay attention.
Support it.
Speak up.

Because every child deserves more than survival.
