Hey G3TX…
Why is it that we give everyone else grace, encouragement, and kindness… but we talk to ourselves like we’re the problem? 🤍💔

We cheer on our friends.
We see the good in strangers.
We look for the best in everyone…
yet somehow we look for the flaws in ourselves. Raise your hand if you can relate! 🙋🏻‍♀️

But here’s the truth: ✝️
You were created ON PURPOSE, with purpose.
God didn’t ask you to be perfect — He asked you to be YOU!! Authentically YOU!!
And that’s a beautiful, powerful, world-changing thing. ☀️🙏🏻

So this week, challenge yourself to see the BEST within you.
Not in a braggy way.
Not in an arrogant way.
But in a God-made-me-this-way-for-a-reason way.

There is only ONE you.
And your gifts, your heart, your grit, your grace —
that’s your contribution to this world.
And that’s pretty dang cool. ❤️💪🏻🥂

Hey G3TX -
Like every Texan, my heart and spirit have been heavy with the tragic events in our beloved Hill Country. It still doesn’t seem real. My head can’t wrap around the loss of so many beautiful lives in a place that has been so special to so many for generations.

I live in New Braunfels, Texas and that same Guadalupe River runs through our town - I look at the river differently now. Almost as something “sacred” is the best way I can describe it.

But in the midst of this tragedy is something that has NOT surprised me — the Spirit and Grit of Texans!!

You see in Texas, we don’t wait for the waters to recede or the danger to pass before we help. We see Texans in trouble and we go help! It’s in our spirit - it’s who we are! We are resilient and we are strong! Every single time!
The equipment, the manpower, the H-E-B trucks and the BBQ Pits - they don’t wait for permission - they just go!

We come together and we do what has to be done! We know we are Blessed by God and we are called to serve however we can!

And we will all hurt together - we will all grieve together! We will be relentless in helping to bring peace to the families of those lost and comfort and support to those who survived but lost everything. We will clean up our beloved river and restore our Hill Country and somehow and someway, Good will come from it! We are Texans!
