We have a new addition to our Memory Huggable collection. Kelsey wanted a floppy ear bunny in memory of her own floppy ear bunny Marley. So, I made this huggable from Marley’s blankets and pillow. 🐰

Well friends, it has been 3 weeks today since shoulder surgery. It ended up being a lot more than “just” rotator cuff, there was also a biceps tear as well as what they call a SLAP tear.
I feel I am healing well, slow but doing well. I am able to do some hand sewing and yesterday I was ironing fabric with my left hand, lol you should have seen that!! And tried cutting a little with the rotary cutter. I just have to remind myself that God is in control and is healing me in His timing.

Melissa and Chris wanted Olivia to have a special Snuggle Me Baby Cat and a Snuggle Me Baby T-Rex from her baby clothes. We made sure to keep the “ruffle butts” 😆
Having the customers so involved with the custom making of each item makes them even more special!

Terri ordered this Memory Huggable Bear and Pillow for her neice and nephew who recently lost their dad to pancreatic cancer. We made sure to add a purple ribbon to each in honor of his fight.

This animal is the first of my new line, Memory Voice Huggables! This special cat is made from Marion’s T-shirt and holds a secret surprise for Brenda- a recording of Marion talking to her!!!

You can see pictured below, the voice recorder and pocket I have created for easy access if/when the batteries need changed.

New Line Announcement!!!!

I have created another addition to my company, Memory Voice HuggabIes so you can now add a recording of your loved one’s voice, if you have the file, into an animal of your choice.

There will be a pocket in the back of the animal with the voice recorder with easy access to change the batteries if needed. (Close up pictures will be in my next post)

I am so excited to be able to add this special addition to the Memory Huggable Collection even more comforting when you need it the most.

I am so excited as renovations to our recently acquired shop began today. Terry worked inside taking the walls down to the framing and my brother Jim cleared the lot with one of his “toys”. I am amazed by the difference a day makes.

I can not express how proud and excited I am to announce the new home of “Homemade By Sew What”. The sign arrived today thanks to Signforce. There are renovations that need to be made to the new facility, I’m hoping that they will be completed by end of April with all the working stations I need to complete your projects even quicker. This all could not have been possible if not for the backing of my wonderful husband and the support of my three amazing daughters. As well as all the people who have entrusted me with their treasured items to create either memory huggable’s or snuggle me baby items of their loved ones and babies to cherish and hold forever. I love you all so much and thank you!
