One of my favorite things about thrifting is giving forgotten treasures a second chance. These vintage doilies cleaned up beautifully, and now they're ready for their next chapter.

Well friends... the piles are growing! 😅🍂🎃

All winter long I've been gathering treasures, and this weekend it's finally time to start digging through the stacks, cleaning, sorting, pricing, and deciding what makes its way into The Rusty Pumpkin.

Every piece has a story, and I never know what hidden gems I'll uncover when I start going through it all. Vintage finds, unique décor, unexpected treasures, and maybe a few things I forgot I even bought! 🤣

Whether you find a treasure to take home, discover a piece that reminds you of Grandma's house, or simply enjoy looking around, we thank you for spending part of your weekend with us.

Somewhere along the way, women were made to feel guilty for slowing down. Like resting means we’re lazy… when really, sometimes resting is exactly what we need.

So here’s your reminder to take a little time for you. Grab your favorite coffee from The Press Coffee Co. or flavored drink from Ky's Lunch Box Express, wander through Junque In The Trunk Vendor Market, and let yourself slow down for a bit. No rushing. No pressure. Just enjoying the little things, the stories behind vintage treasures, and a peaceful moment to breathe.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Because of their sacrifice, we are able to enjoy the simple things we love most… family, community, creativity, pickin’, paintin’, and creatin’.
