Our product line is expanding to completed garments as time permits. Thread Lair was incorporated in Brooklyn, New York in 2022.

Thread Lair sells screen accurate and high end textiles for designers looking to replicate their own favorite Jedi costumes, unique original designs, with 27 years of experience. We are a textile retailer and costume business, offering high end costumes and fabrics to designers. Our primary focus is on screen accurate Jedi costumes, but there are plans to expand beyond these designs by exploring other genres, both historical, and fictional. We are notable for our Anakin and Obi-Wan costumes, having supplied either materials for fans to make their own, or commissioned items for the discerning collector. In 2024 we relocated to our home town in Connecticut. Be sure to check our shop for the latest textiles and completed garments that are added as they are created!

Quite a while back this material was teased when I loaded an image of it as the cover photo for the page here, but I'm gauging interest in this 100% Screen Accurate Lando Calrissian Empire Strikes Back Cape (Lining) Fabric.

This is a very rare and expensive Dragon Silk Blend fabric but matches the screen used fabric exactly!

If people want this I can list it in the shop for purchase. It will be $84.00 a yard, so NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, but you literally cannot get any closer to the real thing!
