We've made it back home from our summer trip to the west coast. Today I am remembering our visit to two fabric resources that were located fairly close to my friend's house in the Bernal Heights neighborhood. Discount Fabrics was HUGE and filled with hundreds of rolls of fabrics, maybe thousands!! It was so overwhelming that it was easy to walk out empty handed. Our other stop was at SCRAP . It's a creative reuse center offering everything from fabric and notions, to yarn, paper, art supplies, baskets, and lots of other items that are supplied from donations. If you need to clear out your stash they take donations. If you want to create with second-hand supplies here's where you can find some. Win-WIN!!
If I lived close by, I am sure that I would be stopping into these spot regularly. But, I am happy to be home and getting back into my routine. I've got a list of folks to reach out to, I'll message you today, promise!!
