The founders of tasc Performance saw a need for a natural alternative – A fabric that feels better against the skin, is easy to care for, does not stink, and performs naturally without all the chemicals. The solution, as created by the family operated New Orleans-based company, is the combination of a unique blend of fibers (organic cotton or merino wool with viscose from Bamboo) and a proprietary finishing process (BamCo®). The process, which took 2+ years to perfect, maintains the inherent performance characteristics of the fiber (moisture wicking, breathability, UPF 50+, temperature regulation, and anti-odor) without the use of chemical enhancements. The result is a fabric that feels amazing against the skin, is very durable, and performs as well (or better) than common synthetic options. tasc Performance offers a full-line of men’s and women’s functional athletic apparel for the modern performance lifestyle.
