When the seat of your favorite work pants get threadbare, bring them over to me. Starting at $20 and I’ll mend the seat and inspect the rest of your pants: mend any of the holes, reinforce any week points, and over all make sure these will last you a good while longer.

Getting iron on patches attached to our favorite items can be a headache.
My trick is to make sure the placement is right. Then, protect the reverse side of the item or pocket, use a pressing cloth designed to distribute the heat evenly across the patch and carefully iron with the highest setting. Always test before attempting on the final item (I use my own items to test before ever working on a client project). The key is properly melting the glue on the patch to have it adhere to the textile I’m working with.

For extra security, I will then either hand sew or use my machine (based on location) to secure the patch. Heavy duty polyester thread is always the best bet to make sure the item withstands future adventures.

Tomorrow, 19 August, I will be at The Kingpin. Come see me if you have items in need of repair! Grab an adult beverage and let’s chat about your items!

This evening I also have a selection of specialty embroidered tea Towels.

100% cotton

$25 each

Each one has a hanging loop on the back.
For those who recall the days of Crafty Kitah (IYKYK) these are made individually. I have a stock of 18in wide cotton toweling. I cut each one to size. These are not standard embroidery ‘blanks’, I roll the hem on these. Some are custom tie-dyed. None are perfect.

About 2 hrs is logged to make each of these.

They make great gifts AND I’m happy to do commissions of your inside jokes on to tees or towels. (You bring the shirt- I’ll stitch what you’d like on it.)

Looking forward to seeing yall!
