JOY IN REPETITION.

Silk chiffon short dress and wrap skirt with beaded flowers.
Over a 1000 flowers were cut and hand sewn together to create the details on this dress.
I'd like to say thank you to Renata Silva, Eudocia Medeiros and Anne for all the work done on this dress while I was recuperating from a detached retina operation and could not sew. Thank you my dear friends.

EMEM (Escola de Música do Estado do Maranhão Lilah Lisboa de Araújo), located in São Luís, is a music education institution created in 1974. The school is known for democratizing music education in the state. Located in Monte Castelo, the school offers courses and trains musicians from Maranhão, Brazil.

Julya wears a collaged jacket with pleated front peplum and a tie as a whimsical detail and 4 ply silk pants.

COPPER COLORED WALL - THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS. The Collection.

São Luís, Brazil, is known for its vibrant reggae scene and is often called the "Brazilian Jamaica" because of its deep-rooted love for the music. Reggae's popularity in São Luís is linked to the city's diverse population, its history of censorship during the military dictatorship, and the influence of local sound systems called "radiolas".

Jocy wears a brocade cull circle skirt with double pleats on waist and cotton bais tape hem and a brocade jacket with 3/4 puff sleeves.
