Comment Round Top and we’ll see you our Google Map✨

After 15+ shows shopping, setting up our shop, getting lost in fields, finding treasures and making some of our favorite memories, we’re here with our gems for the largest antique and design fair out in Round Top, Texas🫶🏽

Start in the fields, wear your comfortable shoes and leave plenty of room in the car. Day one is all about the hunt, with a few very necessary stops for food and drinks along the way.

Of course we recommend visiting us at The Horseshoe on Day 1 since it’s one of the most celebrated venues in Round Top. Give yourself plenty of time here🫶🏽

A little more shopping, a little more exploring and absolutely no reason to be on a schedule that’s too strict. Half the magic of Round Top is finding something you weren’t looking for.

This is the day you go back for the thing you haven’t stopped thinking about. Trust me, if you’re still talking about it two days later, you probably should have bought it.

Also a great day to tack on Houston or Austin and stay at the Proper or La Colombe d’Or with an amazing send off meal.

The biggest mistake you can make in Round Top is waiting too long to book somewhere to sleep. We’re talking a year in advance if you can. And if you can’t find anything in town, don’t panic. There are some really special places just outside of it.

Yes, you’re technically here to shop, but I would argue that planning your meals is equally important. Make your dinner reservations early and never underestimate the importance of a good lunch and a cold drink halfway through a very long shopping day.
Please note that many restaurants popup for 3 weeks only and year round restaurants bring in team members from all over - be kind and know a smile goes a long way. Round Top is the kind of place that will do their best to try to accommodate any person who walks in so we are always trying our best to be patient and understanding.

Because there is nothing quite like taking your boots off after walking through dusty fields all day and ordering a margarita. Bonus points if there’s live music and absolutely nowhere else you need to be. Chec

Just if you get the invite, say yes.

Round Top, Texas is quite literally a tiny town of around 90 people that turns into one of the biggest antique & design destinations in the country a few times a year, bringing in 100,000+ people during the shows located halfway between Houston and Austin.

First thing to know: “Round Top” is NOT one antique show. It’s miles of fields, barns, tents & venues along a two lane Texas highway, all with different vendors & personalities. Fall 2026 runs roughly Oct 15–Nov 1, but every venue has its own dates.

DO NOT try to do all of Round Top. You physically cannot. Warrenton & the fields are for digging & treasure hunting. Excess, The Compound, The Horseshoe, Marburger, Blue Hills, Market Hill & Bader Ranch are more curated. ALWAYS pull over when something on the side of the road looks good. That’s usually where the magic happens.

You need a car & give yourself way more time than Google Maps says. Traffic gets insane. Give yourself at least 2 full days, 3 if you really want to explore.

BOOK YOUR HOTEL YESTERDAY. Show weeks sell out FAST.

What to wear: cute Texas but realistic. You’re walking through fields, gravel, dirt & sometimes mud for HOURS. Boots or sneakers, layers & obviously a hat. Texas weather is unhinged. It can be 85, freezing & raining in the same trip.

Bring cash, a tape measure, portable charger & water. Screenshot your room dimensions BEFORE you go. If you love something, BUY IT. “I’ll come back tomorrow” is famous last words. Most major venues can ship, so buy the 9-foot French cabinet.

Food: Lulu’s ; Royers + the pie ; Cisco. Lunch at any of the venues that you’re located at happy hours wherever you hear live music round top town is the epicenter for pretty much most meals, but all the venues have great spots along the way.

My biggest secret: leave room for absolutely no plan. The best part is the random field, dealer, happy hour or piece you never planned on finding.

It’s chaotic, dusty, overwhelming & one of my favorite places on earth.

Visit us Oct 15-31 with Ty Hays 🫶🏽

what the girls are wearing in Round Top 🤠

Probably one of the questions I get asked most every show is what do I actually pack for Round Top? After 17 shows, here’s my real list.

what to wear

Cowboy boots, but ONLY pairs you can actually walk in
Sneakers or comfy shoes for serious shopping days (miron crosby with inserts)
Jeans + denim shorts
Easy tanks + tees
Button downs + lightweight layers
A great belt
Dresses + skirts for days + dinners
A jacket - Texas weather can be all over the place
A hat, obviously
Sunglasses
Crossbody or small bag because you want your hands free

what’s actually in my bag

Sunscreen
Portable charger
Water + electrolytes
Lip balm
Band-Aids / blister patches
Hair tie
Hand sanitizer
Advil
Small tape measure
A foldable tote for purchases

a few things I’ve learned

You will walk WAY more than you think + walk away with way more than you think - DONT overpack💃

It can be hot, cold, dusty, muddy and somehow all of the above in the same trip, so layers are your friend.

Cell service can be questionable. Screenshot addresses and save things before you head out.

Keep water in the car.

Leave room in your suitcase 😂

Do not wear brand new cowboy boots for a 10 hour shopping day.

And if you really love something, buy it. There’s a good chance it won’t be there when you come back.

Save the venues you want to hit before you arrive and group them by area. Round Top is not one little walkable antique market and you can waste SO much time driving back and forth. Check show dates for the specific venues you care about. Everyone opens and closes on different days.

Make dinner reservations before you get here (but if you don’t - prost, cisco village, royers, boon, manditos will always get you in)

Book lodging as early as humanly possible, especially for peak weekend.

Don’t over schedule every second. Half the fun is seeing something on the side of the road, pulling over and finding something you never knew you needed.

And if you only have one day, I just posted my completely unhinged 12 hour itinerary

See you in the fields 🤠

✨the unofficial there-are-no-rules of Round Top

for shoppers

Be kind. Revolutionary, I know.

Stay inspired. You’re here to see things you probably don’t see at home.

You don’t have to like everything. Someone else will. That’s literally the point.

If you hate something, maybe wait until you’re back in the car to announce it 😂 The person who made it / sourced it / designed it may be standing three feet away.

Remember that people spend MONTHS preparing for these few weeks. They hauled it here, styled it, priced it, staffed it and probably haven’t slept.

Support the weird, recycled, handmade, vintage and beautiful things. We need more of them.

Yes, you can ask if there’s flexibility on price. No, you cannot be offended when the answer is no. And pleaseeeeee do not ask over and over, watched someone cave to tears one show.

Ask vendors where else you should shop. Ask where they eat. Ask what you shouldn’t miss. The people here every show know Round Top better than any guide they only put advertisers in ever will.

And PLEASE be kind to restaurant team members. They are feeding approximately 9 billion people in a town of 90.

for brands, artists + vendors

Support each other. There is enough room for everyone to have a great show.

Don’t ask someone how much money they made. This is not summer camp and we are not comparing allowance.

Don’t ask what someone pays their landlord 😂

Don’t talk s**t about your neighbors. You have to see them again tomorrow morning.

Send people to other businesses. Recommend other artists. Tell your clients about the place down the road. Round Top works because people do this.

And for the love of God, DO NOT come to Round Top, photograph another creative’s work and go home and make your own version 👀👀👀

Inspiration is everywhere here. Copying is still copying.

for restaurants + the mercantile

No notes.

Thank you for your service.

Charge us whatever you need to charge us.

And you have my full permission to kick out anyone who’s rude to your staff.

for everyone✨

There is no inappropriate time for a margarita during Round Top.

If I only had 12 hours in Round Top, Texas 👀

I’ve only had to do this once — 2 friends truly had ONE day to see it all. Yes, it was as chaotic as it sounds 😂 but this is my tried-and-true hit list:

START EARLY

The Fields — Zapp Hall + Bar W — 1 hr
Coffee truck at Zapp, treasure hunt + ask for Theresa with the textiles 👀 Great lower-priced finds + gets your mind spinning.

9:30 — The Compound — 45 min
Natalie Vintage + NAN + Indian Pink. Walk, talk, MOVE.

10:30 — Marburger — 1 hr
INSANE but we’re power shopping 😂 Tent A + B Reece + Modern Exchange. If Marburger isn’t open, more time everywhere else!

12 — The Horseshoe — 1–2 hrs
Come see us 😂 TF + Ty Hays + SO much more. New kids on the block + personally think it’s the best 🍾

You’ll see Junk Gypsy + The Porch next — stop if time!

2:30 — Bombshell Betty + Farmloft + Modern Marla — 1 hr
Park + BOOOOOGIE.

4 — Blue Hills — 1 hr
Could spend hours. You don’t have hours 😂

LUNCH: wherever you are when you’re hungry. We’re here to SHOP.

5:30 — Bader Ranch — 45 min
Frozen marg at sunset + Miron Crosby.

6:30 — Brewery OR Prost — 30 min
Pick based on live music. Prost for w**e + pizza + Rolland Square.

8/8:30 — Dinner
Victor Hugo (text to book) OR Royers (book ahead).

10 — Lulu’s
Dessert + drinks. COLLAPSE. 😂

Save this because I’m exhausted just typing it.

There are so many power players we didn’t get to visit this day because of the specific project but promise I’ll do another 24 hour sprint day + 2 day itinerary😭
