I made a quilted reproduction of Abraham Lincoln’s coat that’s launching tomorrow at hapticlab.com, $75 from each sale will be donated to Everytown for Gun Safety

The original coat was made for his second inauguration in 1865, it’s also the coat he wore the night of his assassination. At the center of the design is an eagle holding a banner that reads, "One Country, One Destiny".

This quilt carries history forward—an object that speaks to the resilience of our shared destiny as a country and my own belief that America belongs to the peace makers.
