Nothing says summertime in the Hamptons like rosé wine. Therefore for this year’s Art & Soul: Hamptons fifth year anniversary, I front-loaded The Wine Tasting Experience with fantastic rosé wines from around the world thanks to my very special 2026 wine partners. And, of course, with the release of my educational rosé wine book, “Maneuvering Rosé Wine With Style,” I had lots to talk about in relation to rosé wines with our guests.

💗The Vice Wine 2025 Limited Edition World Cup Rosé, Napa Valley, California

With his finger on the pulse of society, Malek Amrani offered up a delicious and deliciously striking World Cup rosé bottle that was absolutely perfect for the occasion’s timing! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Malek for about six years now and his generosity and support has always been greatly appreciated.

💗 J. de Villebois Pinot Noir Rosé 2023, Loire Valley, France

As a big fan of Loire Valley wines — from Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir — this French Pinot Noir was a crowd favorite. It was crisp and dry, two of consumer’s favorite wine adjectives.

💗 La Vieille Ferme Sparkling Rosé NV, France

This sparkling rosé wine is where most of our guests started and was also the first option to be 86’d on Friday and Saturday nights. The vibrant effervescence and hints of red fruit made the event even more festive. The had the pleasure of interviewing Marc Perrin of Famille Perrin years ago during my weekly “Monday Meditations w/ Wine” IG series. It was a pleasure to have La Vieille Ferme Sparkling rosé as a featured wine this year.

💗 Estelado Brut Rosé NV, Maule Valley, Chile

As an instructor for a sommelier certification course, I’ve taught the Southern Hemisphere wine regions for about five years. But even before that, Chile was one of my favorite wine regions for several reasons. And one reason is this sparkling Pias from Miguel Torres. This was an ideal option to serve on Saturday’s VIP Brunch, offering the guests something unique, distinctive and off-the-beaten path. I also had the pleasure of interviewing Eduardo Jordon, Miguel Torres’s Chief Winemaker on my IG series years ago.

That’s a wrap on Art & Soul: Hamptons 2026 — the Fifth year anniversary.

Whew! A time was had by all, despite a little stormy weather that crashed the party on Saturday night!

The immersive, three-day art and culture experience in the Hamptons concluded with the Hamptons Sunday Brunch held at the Southampton Inn hosted by SAAM (Southampton African American Museum).

Departing the Hamptons, the guests and the experiences to head back home to NYC was a little sad. But hopefully we’ll get a chance to descend back on the village in 2027 and do it all again!

Hopefully everyone had safe and pleasant travels back to Seattle, Atlanta, Baltimore, Brooklyn, Manhattan and other locations all over the U.S.

Final thanks again to Lea Williams of Let’s Talk Wine, The Vice Wines, Vineyard Brands, J. de Villebois, Mohua, Marqués de Cáceres, Famillia Torres Wines and La Vieille Ferme.

Today, I’m going to take a day off of drinking and enjoy the Wölffer Estate Petite Rosé sparkling, non-alcoholic beverage made by pressing unripe vinifera grapes into a refreshing drink. It is delicious on its own and also mixes well with spirits too.

Be blessed! Stay hydrated and hopefully I’ll see you again really soon.

After a nightcap late Friday, it was time to prepare for the special VIP Brunch in Southampton hosting nearly 70 guests on Saturday afternoon.

Therefore, the sparkling wine (Marqués de Cáceres Cava Brut NV and Estelado Brut Rosé NV) needed to be chilled to perfection and my service station ready to go with glassware.

The guests braved the weather as the skies grew increasingly darker and rain started to fall more frequently. But, a turn of bad weather, wasn’t going to stop us. Brunch went on as planned and was fabulous as usual.

Unfortunately, the weather did get worse as the night progressed, so we had to make adjustments and move our last wine activation inside this year. However, it proved to be a cozy, community gathering where we enjoyed food, art and wine inside SAAM and live music, dancing, rum, whiskey and relaxing inside the big tent.

One more day and one more event to go before it’s an official wrap on Art & Soul: Hamptons 2026 — year five.

It is a blessing and privilege to be a part of the Art & Soul: Hamptons event in Southampton, New York, for the third year in a row — via The Wine Stylings and DION magazine.

Each year is different and brings unique flavors, energies and people together. But it’s always delicious.

It is such a treat to enjoy a slightly slower pace, fire flies at night, the signature look of the Shingle style architecture that permeates the region and the close proximity to vineyards and agricultural.

Special thanks to Yaya for putting this all together. This marks the fifth year anniversary of the festival. Then, a toast to my Sommelier partner-in-crime, Lea Williams, who has been on this journey with me for the last three years.

And, of course, The Wine Stylings Experience, wouldn’t be possible without our lovely and generous wine partners. This year, we have the pleasure of showcasing The Vice Wines for the second year in a row (Napa Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé); J. de Villebois Pinot Noir Rosé 2023, Loire Valley, France; La Vieille Ferme Sparkling Rosé NV and Mohua Pinot Noir 2022 from Central Otago, New Zealand for two events over the weekend. And, then for the Saturday VIP Brunch, we have the pleasure of pouring Marqués de Cáceres Cava Brut NV from Cataluna, Spain and Estelado Brut Rosé NV from Maule Valley, Chile.

Special thanks to the team at The Vice Wines and Vineyard Brands for your continued support over the years — especially in this increasingly challenging industry.

I’m hoping and wishing and praying the rain away for today and looking forward to the rest of a lovely evening.

I’m having myself a time getting back to Broadway to explore shows, stories and characters that are bold, brazen, three dimensional and wonderfully human.

It’s been a week since I experienced “The Balusters” on Broadway and just four days since it closed, and its power still lingers.

It is such a timely, relevant, funny, real piece of theatre that everyone in America needs to see because it questions why we hold on to things, how we relate to others in shared spaces, how our biases and prejudices come out — intentionally or unintentionally — and what do we do with our own individual privilege.

The entire cast was masterful; each dynamic and seamlessly carrying the show! I am, a little biased when it comes to Anika Noni Rose, however! I’m not only a fan, but I consider her a friend too. If she considers me a gentle soul, I say: It takes one to know one.

I’m not sure about the future of the show, or the many that have closed or will be closing soon. But I do hope that people get to experience this play in some form or fashion in the near future.

I just wanted to suggest, to anyone that is fortunate enough to experience live theatre (plays, musicals or experimental productions) to please seize the opportunity. I always walk out of a theater feeling transformed a bit. More aware. More awake. More inspired. And I think you might too. At least, that is my hope!

Cheers to the arts! And in the praise of another Virgo superstar: Pink, Ms. Alecia Beth Moore, you did the damn thang at the Tony’s! Can’t wait to catch you on Broadway soon! I hope! Manhattan Theatre Club Anika Noni Rose P!NK

I am so blessed and fortunate to make my second Broadway stop this week to see another Broadway Baby friend of mine, Nicole, as she returns to the “Chicago.”

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to see her in this, but I am so very happy to be here seeing one of my favorite musicals with one of my favorite people! Break a leg Nicole!
