Undra Celeste New York

Perfect 10…no notes 🙌🏾.

Seriously, although it hasn’t been perfect— we are still here, and that alone is something to honor.

This week marks 10 years of Undra Celeste New York.

While this moment could look like celebration, we’re choosing something more honest. We’re rebuilding. And a true rebuild requires reflection.

Looking back at the collections, the experiences, the collaborations—there is so much to be grateful for. So many risks taken. So many lessons learned. So many people who believed, supported, purchased, shared, showed up, and stayed.

There’s no 10-year anniversary sale.
No party (yet).
No performance meant to convince anyone that everything is flawless.

Just gratitude, reflection, and the quiet determination to push forward with clarity and purpose.

To everyone who has supported Undra Celeste New York in any way over the past decade—thank you. I love you and appreciate you more than words can fully express.

Please stay with us on this journey.
Amazing things are ahead.

With gratitude,
Undra

For four years, I’ve tried to start a YouTube channel.
Every year, I would record… and that’s where it stopped.

Maybe I was overwhelmed by life.
Maybe I wasn’t motivated.
Maybe my why wasn’t big enough.

As 2025 came to an end—and I survived one of the hardest years of my business and personal life—I had to make a real decision:
Do I close Undra Celeste New York in its 10th year, or do I push forward?

The truth is, I’ve been pushing this business forward the entire time. And I’m tired.

I couldn’t move ahead the same way I’ve operated for the past 10 years. While those years were beautiful and full of incredible moments, they took everything out of me. This brand was built on blood, sweat, and tears—and I have no more of that to give.

So after much prayer, we (me and God) decided to move forward—with new intentions.

After prayer comes the practical part: MONEY.
I spent all of January working to get investors to buy into the new vision for Undra Celeste New York.

It’s hard.

But we are —and that’s the strongest why I’ve ever had.

With this YouTube channel, I’m pulling the curtain back to show the real challenges of building an independent fashion brand as a Black woman entrepreneur.
It’s different. And it deserves to be seen.

Our first episode breaks down why the rebuild is necessary. 2025 can’t be wrapped into a neat 26-minute story, but you’ll see how the year began with Saks Fifth Avenue as our primary retailer, how we processed the news of their bankruptcy, how my personal life collided with the business, and how—by October—the brand was broke and I was actively looking for a job.

Rebuild 2026 will be many things: vulnerable, eye-opening, uncomfortable at times—but most of all it will be a testament to God’s and his faithfulness.

Not just a new year! 2026 will be year 10 for us. Although that may sound like a time to celebrate, we’re not. We’re rebuilding.
I won’t get into what 2025 did or didn’t do but I will say that the struggle of being down allow for the beauty of looking up!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, Y’ALL! Let’s GO!
