The making of Without Rhythm (43k words)✍🏾

Lots + lots of notes. 1st drafts. 2nd drafts. A lot of rewriting.

10 months later, Without Rhythm is a completed manuscript 🫠

Still finding its way into the world, but taking a moment to appreciate how far it’s come ❤️Set in New York City, Without Rhythm is a story about fashion, friendship, love, + the complicated business of building a life of your own.

What a week!

I had the opportunity to work alongside the most amazing costume designer Clara (희진 )on Tony Stock: Pro Trader Ramp Tony Hawk , a live production presented by Ramp at the New York Stock Exchange.

From sourcing and alterations to fittings and last-minute wardrobe fixes, this project took me all over NYC before bringing me to one of its most iconic spaces - 🔥🛹.

There’s something surreal about working behind the scenes at the NYSE, surrounded by the energy of a live performance + the people who make it happen.

Grateful for the experience, the creative collaboration, and the opportunity to keep expanding what I do 🙏🏿

Little chapters: Playing dress-up ⭐️🎀

Snuck away on my break yesterday to see Doll Dressing at The Museum at FIT, beautifully curated by Colleen Hill!

So much imagination, craftsmanship, + joy in getting dressed. A lovely reminder that fashion is meant to be playful, too💕 this is a must see 💕💗
