7 years ago today, I recorded this video inside 20th precinct NYPD -after being arrested on a public street while peacefully protesting against the false reports Dorchester Towers filed against my husband and me. Today marks the 7th anniversary of that wrongful arrest, & justice still has not been served. G**s against Dorchester Towers

Dorchester Towers engaged in a campaign of harassment and displacement by instructing the staff of our building to call the 911 emergency system on us (31 times), weaponizing law enforcement to police our presence in common areas.

From Oct to Nov 2018, while residing at Dorchester Towers, During those two months, I was wrongfully placed in handcuffs on 7 separate occasions and forcibly brought to Bellevue and Mount Sinai against my will. Final evaluations confirmed that I was neither mentally unstable nor a danger to myself or others—demonstrating these reports were malicious fabrications intended to weaponize the 911 system against my family. The following year in 2019, I suffered further criminalization when former property manager Kelly Ann (Whipple) Desrosier/ Dorchester Towers filed a series of false police reports. These allegations—falsely claiming I issued death threats, violated a court-ordered injunction, and sent threatening emails—resulted in my arrest on three more separate occasions.

7 years later, the devastating and permanent trauma inflicted upon my spouse and me remains unresolved. Despite documented evidence proving that these parties falsified sworn statements and police reports, the NYPD & the Manhattan D.A.’s Office have refused to initiate an investigation or prosecute these crimes. We were repeatedly re-victimized by their refusal to act, claiming that taking a report from us would contradict the charges filed against me by previous detectives & prosecutors in my 2019 criminal case that was dismissed.

This systemic failure is precisely why I founded my advocacy group in October 2020, just two months after the dismissal of my own criminal case. Today, we continue to pursue civil litigation against Dorchester Towers, Kelly Ann Desrosier, for these malicious acts, a pursuit validated when 5 NY Supreme Court judges unanimously overturned a lower court's dismissal in our favor. In the spirit of Pride, Stop False Police Reporting extends our warmest wishes for a safe and beautiful weekend to all of our supporters, their families and friends, and those directly impacted—the survivors of false reporting and wrongful convictions. As we celebrate, let us hold in our thoughts those who cannot be with us today—the individuals who remain unjustly incarcerated and are still bravely fighting for their innocence and freedom.

Today, June 28, for the NYC Pride March, Stop False Police Reporting was invited to march along with Governor Kathy Hochul‘s group. During the pride march, we got a chance to connect with many LGBTQIA+ individuals, advocates, lawyers, and elected officials, including Senator Robert Jackson and Assemblymember David Weprin. Our group raised awareness as we marched proudly with other LGBTQ+ individuals. One of the highlights of the day was when the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities was with us, and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani came alongside of our group and shook our hands and said hello, and also when Attorney General Letitia James greeted us very affectionately. We got to connect with so many attendees along the way, passing out flyers and literature about the advocacy and policy work we are doing for survivors of false reporting. It was a spectacular day of diversity, and we were really proud to be part of this.

STOP FALSE POLICE REPORTING shares a powerful update and celebration from the Major Owens Community Wellness Center in Brooklyn. We were honored to be part of Kamla Millwood’s Palatial Publishing LLC’s Juneteenth & Caribbean-American Heritage Month Expo. Our organization took the opportunity to continue its vital advocacy work. As a survivor-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it is essential to be present in our community to build awareness and provide support. We engaged with numerous attendees, sharing information about the critical bills we are advancing to protect the rights of survivors of false police reporting by law enforcement officers and civilians. Our booth was a hub of meaningful dialogue and connection.

The conversations yesterday were both deeply moving and encouraging, reflecting a genuine, widespread interest in justice, accountability, and the necessary, survivor-led change we advocate for. We connected with attendees, other small business owners, and local leaders, all united by a shared purpose. There was also one moment where a woman shared about one of her family members being wrongfully incarcerated, which brought her and myself to tears, and is another reason why I am so inspired to continue to do this work.

Finally, I must share a special and deeply heartfelt thank you to my supportive husband, Ming Infante. Your love, hard work, and encouragement have been absolutely foundational to this journey, and you have been supportive since the founding of this organization in 2020. Celebrating our 26th anniversary together this month reminds me that leading an advocacy organization is challenging work, but your presence in my corner makes all the difference. None of this progress would be possible without your support, and I am eternally grateful.

Based in Manhattan and serving all five boroughs of New York City, Stop False Police Reporting is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to advocating for survivors of false police reporting and driving meaningful policy reform to address this critical public safety issue.

Through bold advocacy and legislative action, the organization works to end false police reporting by both law enforcement officers and civilians, while establishing a clear pathway for survivors to obtain justice and rightful compensation for the permanent harm they have experienced.

At the heart of SFPR’s mission are three major legislative proposals aimed at protecting the rights of survivors and establishing a clear pathway to justice. One of these proposals has been introduced at the New York State legislative level, which was originally created and developed by SFPR Founder and Director Anthony Dolci, including its name, framework, and core provisions. All three of the following bill proposals are advanced under this framework:

1, Survivors of False Police Reporting: This bill seeks to elevate knowingly false police reports to felony charges for both civilians & law enforcement, while establishing a public database to track and identify offenders. This legislation would require prosecutors, following case dismissal, to provide detailed reports outlining whether accusers recanted & whether sufficient evidence ever supported the claims.

2 Reporting Police Misconduct: Strengthening police accountability through mandatory misconduct reporting by fellow police officers.

3 Compensation for the Exonerated: This proposal aims to create dedicated state funding to support exonerees immediately upon their release, ensuring a more humane & just reentry into society.

Creating Pathways for Justice and Compensation: Advancing Advocacy and Policy Work for Survivors of False Police Reporting: I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Professor Sergio Grossi for the opportunity to speak at John Jay College yesterday, May 11th, to both of his classes about the advocacy and policy work we do for survivors of false reporting.

It was such a great experience for me to connect with the students and hear their voices, perspectives, and questions. Engaging with the next generation of leaders in this field is vital to raising awareness and advancing our mission for survivors.

I am also grateful and appreciative of your engagement during both classroom sessions, including your insightful questions, and for the opportunity to share how I was impacted by false reporting, as well as the legislative proposals we are working on, which I hope helped inform and inspire the students and gave them greater understanding of the dangers of false reporting through hearing my story.

Thank you again for your time and for the invitation to contribute to your curriculum. I look forward to the possibility of collaborating again in the future.

Creating Pathways for Justice and Compensation: Advancing Advocacy and Policy Work for Survivors of False Police Reporting”

On Monday, May 11, 2026, I have been invited to speak at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. The lectures will take place at the John Jay campus located at 524 West 59th Street, New York, NY 10019.

These presentations are not open to the public and are reserved exclusively for the students and faculty of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

I will be presenting to two classes:

• SOC 301 – Penology: 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM

• SOC 216 – Probation & Parole: 5:55 PM – 7:10 PM

The lecture, titled “Creating Pathways for Justice and Compensation: Advancing Advocacy and Policy Work for Survivors of False Police Reporting,” will examine the unique challenges survivors face when dealing with the police and District Attorney’s office. I will also be sharing about my wrongful arrest, and the Stop False Police Reporting organization’s advocacy and policy work—including three bill proposals we are advancing for survivors at the New York State level.

The discussion will highlight how our legislative efforts aim to protect the rights of survivors of false police reporting, police accountability, and establish a clear pathway for both justice and compensation within the criminal justice system.

It was an honor to attend the Fourth Annual 2026 Spring Gala hosted by The Jeffrey Deskovic Foundation for Justice. This vital event brought together advocates, lawyers, organizations, and exonerated individuals at the Westchester Manor to support the foundation’s mission of exonerating the innocent and pursuing justice reform. The evening featured keynote speaker Michelle Malkin, titled “Left, Right, and Wrongful Convictions: Commanding Common Cause,” highlighting the shared responsibility we all have in fixing the system.

This marks the fourth year that Stop False Police Reporting has participated in this inspiring event. Seeing the impact of Jeff’s organization firsthand serves as a powerful reminder of why our work is so essential. We are proud to stand alongside the Deskovic Foundation and all the survivors of false reporting who continue to fight for transparency, accountability, and true justice in our legal system.

Stop False Police Reporting Advocacy Day at the 2026 National Convention was a success. Held from April 8–11 at the Sheraton Times Square, our registered booth in the third-floor Resource Room served as a vital hub for advocates, volunteers, and survivors. A major highlight of the event was the presence of distinguished NYC politicians , including Congressman Ro Khanna and Pete Buttigieg, whose attendance at the convention brought significant attention to the national stage. Our team also attended many panels, contributing to the urgent dialogue on restorative justice and systematic accountability within the criminal justice system. Anthony Dolci

We also met with cases of injustice, specifically the case of Ronald Long, who spent 37 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Our petition drive saw steady engagement from attendees interested in seeing real legislative change. Our four day event was made possible by the dedication of our volunteers, who worked to raise awareness and engage the community. We extend our gratitude to the NAN organizers and the leadership for their continued partnership and for providing a platform where the voices of the wrongfully convicted and survivors of false police reporting can be heard.

At the heart of our efforts are three major legislative proposals to protect the rights of survivors and ensure a clear pathway to justice. Two of these bills were created and developed by SFPR founder/ director- Anthony Dolci, with one specifically introduced on the state level to directly address critical public safety issues and community needs:

1. Supporting survivors of false police reporting.

2. Strengthening police accountability through mandatory misconduct reporting.

3. Ensuring immediate compensation for exonerees upon their reentry into society.

We remain committed to advancing these policy initiatives to ensure that the legal system is held to the highest standard of integrity and that justice is finally served for those impacted by systemic failures.
