Dawn of Dissent is a woman owned business, founded in 2016 by Fatí, a designer, a single mother and a social activist immigrated from Italy. Started as a collection of protest T-shirts, two short years later it turned into a full collection of women's wear separates from Italy offering a full line of clothing in addition to the men's and women’s political graphic shirts. And today influence has an incredible power on all of us. From health and fitness to food to beauty and fashion and pretty much in any field we’ve seen this trend grow exponentially. And now it has even spread into politics. 😳 👉🏼
We’re literally seeing and are able to measure (with likes and followers) how much people appreciate and reward truthful stories and authentic behavior. All we need to do is observe the popularity of their contents on socials.
And the truth is, socials have radically changed not only the way we interact and share with each other but the way the world works on so many socio-political levels. They have given people more power to have a say and tell different stories than just the highly edited content of TV, movies and the news whose rhetoric gets decided by a few and powerful. Social media today is a “super power”.

From family, to relationships, to social issues we tend to only care for what affects us personally. In a few words a problem becomes a problem when it’s OUR problem in the immediate. But that’s far from reality. What we miss are all the connections in between what seemingly does not affect us and the hidden way that it actually does through a domino effect of action and reaction. In a global society like we’re living in where everyone is connected by a swipe on a cellphone it’s kinda crazy to think that we’re not all connected in some way. 🤨

Climate change 🌪 is here to stay— If our planet gets destroyed it won’t matter how much money you have or where you live. You want have a planet to live on. 👉🏼 Climate change is a global problem.
Healthcare 🏥 truly impacts every single individual— In a country where your ability to get healthcare depends on your job and what benefits it offers it’d be a game changer to be able to choose a job because of the job and not for the benefits. Or quit one knowing that you and your family will be covered. Or not have to worry about “affording cancer”. Wouldn’t it be nice to know that treatments to save your life are available to you? Cancer can affect any individual rich or poor. 👉🏼 It’s a human issue.
Mass shootings 🔫 ( yeap they even removed the emoji for it. 🙌🏼)— Do you think that the person that walked into a school of children and started shooting was selectively shooting who was rich or who was poor? Insured or not? Climate supporter or not? Today is not your kid’s school, tomorrow it could be. 👉🏼 Gun violence is everyone’s issue.
And let’s talk about who runs our country. 🇺🇸Rich or poor can we all agree that this level of government disfunction affects us all? That every vote should count and that the President should represent us all?
The president in the US is arguably the most powerful man in the world. Who we elect is a global issue. 👉🏼 Voting is a global responsibility.

A new week brings new developments in the House impeachment inquiry.
On Halloween, House leaders pushed the process into a new public phase, voting along party lines to formalize the next steps. Since then, they’ve released transcripts of closed-door depositions from several top officials.
Details from the transcripts paint a picture of a White House in which government veterans were disregarded and even feared for their safety.

Meanwhile, pro-Trump administration officials continue to ignore subpoenas and skip House hearings. Their absences are an attempt to stall the process and delay an ugly truth…
